1. The corporate website
The corporate website at cpp-lm.com provides company information and links to our product website. It has no customer account registration, basket, checkout, online contact form, advertising integration or analytics integration.
The corporate pages do not use optional advertising or visitor-measurement cookies. Our staff use WordPress to maintain the site; signing in to WordPress uses cookies needed for authentication and administration.
2. What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can support a requested service, remember settings or record website activity. This site does not use them to build advertising profiles.
3. WordPress administration
- wordpress_test_cookie: checks cookie support on the WordPress login page; it is a session cookie.
- wordpress_* and wordpress_logged_in_*: authenticate an authorised staff session. Standard WordPress authentication lasts up to two days, or up to two weeks when “Remember Me” is selected; ordinary session cookies may be removed sooner when the browser closes.
- wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-*: remember administrative interface settings, normally for up to one year.
- wp_lang: remembers the selected login language for the session, where used.
The asterisk represents a site- or user-specific part of a cookie name. These administrative cookies are not required to read the public corporate pages. Strictly necessary cookies support a service requested by the user, such as secure staff login.
4. Links to cpp.parts
Product, reseller and technical enquiry links open cpp.parts, which is a separate Shopify website. Its privacy information and cookie controls apply when you visit it. The corporate site has no embedded Shopify checkout or chat widget.
5. Your choices
Your browser lets you inspect, delete or block cookies and other stored information. Blocking login cookies may prevent authorised staff from signing in. If optional technologies requiring consent are added, we will explain their purposes and provide the required choice before they operate.
